Structural Modeler – Designer

Job description

Pinnacle Engineering is a structural engineering firm with a reputation for quality work and client satisfaction. Our work includes many types of projects including retail, religious, healthcare, multi-family, and high-end single-family residences. We also work as specialty structural engineers on structural insulated panels, heavy timber framing, and other structural systems. Projects are located in forty-five states, but significant travel is not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Works directly with structural engineers to produce construction documents in accordance with drafting standards (industry and internal)
  • Develops accurate, high-quality drawings that are clear, concise, and consistent throughout
  • Utilizes information included in the drawings provided by the architect and other engineering disciplines to coordinate with our work
  •  Keeps current on best practices in BIM and works with our BIM team to develop new and improved standards
  •  Communicates well with involved parties

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Revit operation including design of custom components and families
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy including adapting to and applying company standards
  • A personal desire to produce work of the highest quality
  • An ability to effectively switch back and forth between projects
  • Experience modeling structural systems and preparing construction documents will be considered a significant plus, but an individual with the skills noted above and an interest in working with structural systems can fill this role
