Structural Engineering Intern
Declan is pursuing a degree in Architectural Engineering at the University of Cincinnati and plans to graduate in May 2029.
As an intern, Declan is excited to continue learning the structural engineering design process. In just a few short weeks, he has already gained insight into the day-to-day work of a structural engineer and is especially interested in building his skills in load design and taking on more challenging projects.
What draws Declan to structural engineering is the balance between technical precision and creativity. He enjoys applying math and physics to real-world problems and seeing designs come to life through construction, especially knowing the structures he helps design will be used every day.
Outside of work, Declan is the youngest of four siblings, with three older sisters.
