In January 2026, our Principal and Structural Engineer, Tom Moore, went to the Extreme Builders Summit North America, hosted by Extreme Panel Technologies in Granite Falls, Minnesota. We were proud to sponsor the event and connect with builders and industry partners from around the country for two days of learning, teamwork, and hands-on activities.

The event began with a live SIPs build demonstration, allowing attendees to observe the construction process and the real-time benefits of Structural Insulated Panels.

One of the highlights of the summit was the purpose behind the live build itself. After being completed, the structure was disassembled and prepared for shipment to Georgia, where it will be rebuilt for a new homeowner through the Homes for Heroes® program.

On day two, Tom joined an informative Q&A panel, sharing insights and answering questions about SIPs’ benefits and technical aspects alongside fellow industry experts. The discussion highlighted how SIPs can speed up construction, improve insulation and durability, and be more sustainable overall.

The event wrapped up with Tom receiving the Build Better Together Award. This award recognizes our partnership with Extreme Panel Technologies and our commitment to advancing SIP construction.
